Stage fright led her to go to school for animation but when she couldn’t fight the urge to sing her songs; she conspired to make the album ‘The Cricket’s Orchestra’ with producer, Les Cooper. Her love of the music of the ’20s, ’30s, and ’40s, recalls those eras but with her own special spin. Last March’s Juno Awards named her the best new artist of the year.
