The Jazz Connection Big Band is back at The Pearl for a four-concert series, Fridays at 9 pm, Mar 6, Apr 10, May 15, and Saturday June 20, at 9:30. The Jazz Connection Big Band, a 20-piece big band based in Hamilton Ontario, is made up of musicians dedicated to playing great, straight-ahead jazz in a big band setting. Had the opportunity to see the band on Friday. They came highly recommended and frankly they knocked my socks off. The Pearl Company stage and setting provided a perfect theatre to experience their wonderful sound. Not to be missed……I’m spreading the word.
