Brownman continues to explore jazz-hip-hop with his own quintet GRUVASYLUM featuring BROWNMAN with his famous electric trumpet effects rig; MAD DUKEZ – a berserker freestyle rapper from NY; DJ CUTLER from Jeru The Damaja’s touring crew; BEN MILLER from God Made Me Funky on electric bass & COLIN KINGSMORE from the Brownman Electryc Trio on drums.
