The video Hamilton Arts and Heritage by Elizabeth Kronca was prepared for the Hamilton Economic Summit, facilitated by the Hamilton Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Jobs Prosperity Collaborative and the City of Hamilton. The second annual Hamilton Economic Summit (HES-09) was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Wednesday May 6, 2009. The HES was sponsored by Mohawk College of Applied Arts and Technology.
The Pearl Company’s segment of the video features an interview with co-owner Gary Santucci on the role the Art Bus as a catalyst for artistic renaissance, and role of The Pearl Company facility in “reconstructing community, a mixed use diverse community.” Plus a cameo appearance by Artword Theatre Artistic Director Ronald Weihs working on the set for “Tobacco Troubadour”.
