Art Bus, August 7 & 14
August 7: We’ll start with the Anastasia Gallery, move on to transit gallery and Textures on Locke and finish in Dundas where we will visit the Carnegie Gallery, the artists at The Oddfellow’s Hall, and last but far from least, the Dorland Haight Gallery.
August 14: A second Friday again; we’ll visit the complex at 270 Sherman which houses the artists of the Imperial Cotton Centre for the Arts in their studios and galleries. Then we will head to the predictably wonderful James North Art Crawl and later to the Studio Gallery on Barton to visit Bill Powell and the Tiger Group.
• Starting at 6:30 from ‘The Pearl Company’, 16 Steven Street and King William.
• Please reserve a spot beforehand via email or phone, and purchase your trip ($15.00) when you arrive.
• We finish up at The Pearl for an après-tour wind-down which includes a tour of the building and a taste of whatever is happening at The Pearl that evening (sometimes music with Gary Santucci).16 Steven is at King William just north of King, 4 blocks east of Victoria, and 2 blocks west of Wentworth. It’s a three-storey factory/warehouse building. Any other questions? Either call or email me, Barbara Milne (905 524-0606), barbaramilne@cogeco.ca
