Backroom 11: A Halloween Extravaganza and Fundraiser for the Artists of the Amazonian Rainforest. Saturday October 24. Doors open 8:00, Band plays at 9:00. $15 at the door. Silent auction items and much more. Come in costume and don’t plan on sitting still! Backroom 11 is a 9 piece band with a “vintage soul and R&B” sound infused with rock, blues, and jazz influences. They recreate the powerful, classic sounds of the 60’s and 70’s. The band, originated with the collaboration of keyboardist/arranger Dave Thierry and guitarist/vocalist Mike Blackborow, has expanded to include 2 female vocalists, 4 horns, and a 4 piece rhythm section.
