Emerging Artist’s Concert Series: May 10
We are launching our Emerging Artist’s Concert Series!
Lauren Best and the Renegade Company will take the stage with Hamilton’s own Kaz Simaitis. Must be seen/heard at 8:00 Saturday, May 10; admission $10.00 at the door.
Kaz is a classical guitar player who graduated from Mohawk’s music program just last week. He has studied with many well-known names (including Gary Santucci) and is a superb classical guitar player who plays a wide variety of styles. He will be featuring Latin rhythms and renaissance lute music and will be joined by flutist Doda Song.
Lauren Best is a singer, songwriter and keyboardist who is earning a reputation for her thoughtful lyrics and appealing tunes. She’ll be appearing with the Renegade Company, featuring Tyler Wagler on bass. Lauren’s quirky songwriting is garnering a great deal of attention from well-known musicians and the general public in southwestern Ontario.
