Art Bus: Oct 2 and 9
October 2: Starting with the Gallery on the Bay which includes the main gallery and all the studios that also inhabit this space such as Laura Hollick’s Soul Art Studio. Then off to the Hamilton Conservatory for the Arts, and to the transit gallery, which is almost next door to Textures; finally on to Dundas where we will explore “The Oddfellows Hall” (again with a number of interesting studios and galleries), The Carnegie Gallery and The Dorland Haight Gallery. October 9: We will wander through The Imperial Cotton Centre for the Arts / 270 Sherman before we head again for the Art Crawl on James North. Bill Powell and The Tiger Group at their Studio Gallery on Barton will be on hand for their usual “best for last” (their words) appearance.
Starting at 6:30 from ‘The Pearl Company’, 16 Steven Street and King William.
• Please reserve a spot beforehand via email or phone, and purchase your trip ($15.00) when you arrive.
• We finish up at The Pearl for an après-tour wind-down which includes a tour of the building and either music with Gary Santucci or whatever event is happening on the theatre floor.
16 Steven is at King William just north of King, 4 blocks east of Victoria, and 2 blocks west of Wentworth. It’s a three-storey factory/warehouse building. Any other questions? Either call or email me, Barbara Milne (905 524-0606), barbaramilne@cogeco.ca
